Using the Bricsys 24/7 Panel in BricsCAD BIM
Quick answer: Bricsys 24/7 helps team members find and share drawings, enabling project management, team collaboration, cloud computing security, and task automation, with BricsCAD linked directly to it through this panel. Worth noting: this is now the fifth page in this hub whose own title reads “BricsCAD Lite & Pro” while filed under BricsCAD BIM.
Opening the Bricsys 24/7 Panel
- Click the Bricsys 24/7 icon in the Tool panel on the right side of the workspace (if it’s not there, right-click the Tool panel and tick Bricsys 24/7 in the dropdown menu).
- Log in to your 24/7 account if you haven’t already.
Adding a File to the Project
- Open the folder you want to add the file to.
- Click the plus icon to open Add new document, and choose a file.
- Choose a status from the dropdown, Draft, for example.
- Enter a description.
- Click Upload.
The file appears in the folder’s file list, marked Available for download; downloaded files save to the folder set by CLOUDDOWNLOADPATH.
Editing an Uploaded File
Double-click the file to open it. After editing and saving, its status changes to Locally modified. Right-click it to lock it against editing by anyone else. Upload the modified file again with a new status and description; it then gets marked Up-to-date.
