Rollover Tips in BricsCAD
Quick answer: Rollover Tips show a pop-up of entity properties near your cursor, either when you hover over an entity or when one’s selected. With multiple entities selected, only the properties they share are shown. Toggle them via the RT field in the Status Bar; display also depends on the SELECTIONPREVIEW system variable being set correctly, not just ROLLOVERTIPS being on.
What Rollover Tips Show
A selection of entity properties, configurable per entity type via the Customize > Properties dialog, appears in a pop-up near the cursor. If multiple entities are selected at once, only the properties they all share are shown, not the full set for each.
When Rollover Tips Appear
Two triggers: hovering over an entity, or having one selected. For the hover trigger specifically, both of these need to be true:

If SELECTIONPREVIEW is off entirely, ROLLOVERTIPS is ignored altogether and no properties display on hover, regardless of its own setting.
Editing a Property Directly
Click a property shown in a rollover tip to edit it, much the same as you would in the Properties panel, without needing to open that panel separately.
